Refund policy

When MedPros course, quiz and cohort purchases can be refunded or rescheduled — digital‑product rules, the 7‑day technical window, cohort cancellations and chargeback guidance. Read before checkout.

Important

MedPros is a digital learning platform. Once a course, mock paper or question‑bank bundle is activated you have instant access to intellectual property that cannot be "returned". General rule: digital sales are final. Refunds are considered in the specific situations listed below and must be requested within 7 days.

Why digital products are non‑refundable by default

Courses, mock exams, practice quizzes, live‑class seats and question‑bank bundles on MedPros activate the moment your payment is confirmed. Unlike a physical book you can post back, we cannot "recover" the knowledge, notes, screenshots or recordings once you have access.

To help you decide with confidence before you pay:

  • Every course page shows a preview, syllabus, chapter list and sample questions where possible.
  • The instructor, rating, total duration, language and cohort dates are visible upfront.
  • Pricing, any coupon applied, and your total are confirmed again on the checkout summary.
  • Guest visitors can open the course intro and checkout preview without signing up.

Please use these tools before purchasing — they exist so that you do not have to rely on a refund.

Situations we do refund

We believe in fair outcomes. A refund request is reviewed on merit if it falls into one of these buckets and is submitted within 7 days of payment:

  • Technical failure we cannot fix — You can prove (with screenshots, timestamps and order ID) that the product does not play, load or function for you, and our support team is unable to resolve it within 7 days of opening a ticket.
  • Duplicate charge — You paid for the same course, quiz or cohort twice on the same day. We refund the extra charge once verified.
  • Unauthorised transaction — Your card or wallet was used without your consent and the payment processor confirms the dispute. We will also cooperate with your bank.
  • We cancelled the product — MedPros cancels a cohort, withdraws a course, or removes a bundle before you were able to access it. We offer a full refund or a credit toward another product, your choice.
  • Access was never provisioned — Payment succeeded but your order stayed stuck in "processing" and we cannot activate entitlement after investigation.

If your situation does not fit the above buckets, contact us anyway — genuine edge cases are handled case‑by‑case.

Cohort and live‑class cancellations

Live cohorts have fixed start dates because they involve scheduled teacher time, Zoom capacity and limited seats.

  • Before the advertised start date — cancellations requested at least 72 hours before the first session may receive a partial credit toward a future cohort (typically 50% of the fee), subject to availability.
  • On or after the start date — no refund is available, but we may offer access to the recordings (where the cohort page promised recordings) so your study continues.
  • If we cancel the cohort — full refund to your original payment method, or the full value as credit toward another product, your choice.

Cohort rules are reiterated on each cohort page. The cohort page rules apply if they are stricter than these general rules.

Situations we do not refund

To keep pricing fair for the learners who do complete their courses, these cases are not eligible:

  • Change of mind after the course or quiz has been activated and any meaningful part of it has been consumed (lecture watched past the preview, mock started, question‑bank questions answered).
  • You "did not have time" to use the product — unfortunately we cannot recover the reserved access.
  • Dissatisfaction with teaching style, pace or scope after substantial content has been consumed. Please rely on the previews before buying.
  • Failure to meet the technical requirements (internet speed, device, browser) described in our delivery policy.
  • Account suspension or termination for breach of these terms (for example account sharing, recording and redistribution, credential abuse).
  • Promotional or bundle purchases — the discounted amount does not create new refund rights.
  • Requests made more than 7 days after payment.

How to request a refund

Step‑by‑step so nothing slows us down:

  1. Open a ticket within 7 days of payment — email support@medpros.pk from the address on your MedPros account with the subject line "Refund request".
  2. Include: your full name, account email, order ID (from your dashboard), the exact course / quiz / cohort name, the amount paid, the payment method, and a clear description of the issue with timestamps and screenshots where relevant.
  3. Keep one ticket per issue — a single thread lets us merge logs, recording status, payment reference and technical checks.
  4. Our team acknowledges within one business day (Pakistan Standard Time) and works the request within 3–5 business days.
  5. You will receive a written decision by email with the reason and, where approved, the timeline for the refund.

How approved refunds are processed

  • We refund to the original payment method — card to card, wallet to wallet, bank transfer to the bank account the payment came from.
  • Refunds are initiated within 7–10 business days of approval. Your bank or wallet may take further 7–14 days to post the credit; this is outside our control.
  • The related access is revoked at the time the refund is initiated. If the product was partially consumed and we agree a partial refund, we refund the unused portion on a pro‑rata basis.
  • Refunds are made net of non‑recoverable processing fees charged by third‑party gateways, where applicable.

Chargebacks and payment disputes

Please contact MedPros before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card network. Opening a chargeback while we are investigating a refund:

  • Pauses the ticket and delays your resolution.
  • May lock the related MedPros account until the chargeback is closed.
  • If a chargeback is closed in MedPros' favour, the outstanding amount plus any bank‑imposed fees become due and your access stays suspended until the account is cleared.

We are genuinely trying to help — a direct message gets there faster than a chargeback.

Subscriptions and renewals

Some products on MedPros are sold as a fixed renewal window (for example a monthly mock exam pass or a question‑bank subscription).

  • You can cancel future renewals from your profile at any time — the current paid window continues until its end date and is not refundable.
  • We do not offer pro‑rata refunds mid‑cycle for change of mind.
  • If MedPros changes material features of a subscription during the paid window, we will notify you and offer a fair remedy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page to reflect product changes or regulatory guidance. The effective date on the live page will show the latest update. Purchases are governed by the refund policy in effect on the date of the transaction.
